Paddling Film Festival to Support Fundraising for West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre

White Squall Paddling Centre is hosting their annual Paddling Film Festival March 23 at the Stockey Centre with proceeds going to the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre (WPSRCC).

The evening will feature a variety of spectacular short films and refreshments. Leading up to the event, White Squall is hosting an online auction showcasing a variety of local and outdoor adventure-related items.   As part of the fundraising efforts, White Squall and Delta Kayaks are also hosting a draw for a Delta 12S kayak, valued at $1600.  Each $20 donation to the WPSRCC is good for one entry.  Donors are asked to email White Squall after they donate to ensure they are entered.

“The West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre fundraising team is grateful to White Squall owners Tim and Kathy Dyer and all of the staff at the store for their ongoing support and dedication to this cause,” says Jane Culverwell, who is a member of the fundraising team. “They have sold our t-shirts at their shop for the past two years and continue to help us to spread the good news that the long-awaited pool and rec centre is coming!”
